THREADS OF CONTAINMENT (2024)
EDITORIAL.
EDITORIAL.
Featured in Roll Up Magazine #51
Vol.8
Inspired by the metaphor “to be wrapped in cotton wool,” this editorial presents an artistic interpretation of how an overprotective attitude toward oneself often driven by fears of rejection—can inadvertently lead to isolation. Through maximalist garments and unconventional silhouettes, the use of materials becomes a symbolic representation of armour and protection. These elements distort and conceal the subject, illustrating the tension between self-preservation and the barriers it creates.
